Trinidad Carrasco picture for website    Trinidad Carrasco, 89, of Hart, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday in St. John’s Catholic Church in Hart with Rev. Raj Arockia as celebrant.  Burial will follow in Hart Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.  Rosary will be recited at 8:00PM on Friday in St. John’s Catholic Church in Hart.

Trinidad was born on June 7, 1925 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua Mexico to Agapito and Emiteria Carrasco.  She married Jesus Carrasco on October 30, 1943, and moved to Hart, Texas in 1965. While Jesus worked for the family, Trinidad’s full time job was to raise her children and be a housewife. She enjoyed her family and always loved to have all her children and grandchildren around. Trinidad knew the love of a family and passed that same love to all her children. She was loved by so many and touched the lives of everyone that knew her, she will be truly missed by everyone. Her hobbies were cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She was blessed with four sons; Dario, Abelino, Guillermo and Johnny Carrasco and five beautiful daughters; Adela Moroles, Emma Longoria, Genoveva  Montemayor, Yolanda Watson and Sylvia Montemayor, one sister Anastacia Ponce and three brothers; Raymundo, Miguel and Ignacio Carrasco, 31 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jesus Carrasco, one son Dario Carrasco, and one great grandson Christopher Carrasco.
