All information of persons arrested and booked into the Castro County Jail are open records:

 

09/15- Ramon Aguero Jr., 30, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.

 

09/17- Joshua Ledesma, 18, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Fail to Identify to a Peace Officer.

 

09/17- Edward Javier Silva, 41, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Criminal Trespass of a Habitation.

 

09/18- Angelica Quiroz, 29, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Theft over $50-under $500 by Check.

 

09/18- Enrique Flores, 45, of Lubbock was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Prohibited Weapon-Knuckles and Unlawful Carrying Weapon.

 

09/21- James Allen Burris, 46, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 under 1 gram-Bond Surrender.

  • At 5:38 p.m., 300 blk Ave A, Hart, vandalism reported;
  • At 6:52 p.m., 200 blk SW 3rd, Dimmitt, assist Dimmitt Police with possible domestic disturbance;
  • At 9:30 p.m., FM 1055 & CR 630, possible fire reported;
  • At 7:23 p.m., FM 145 & FM 1055, reported stolen vehicle- arrest made for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.

 

09/16

  • At 1:24 p.m., 100 E. Bedford-Jail, Dimmitt, assist Castro County EMS with medical cal at the jail.

 

09/17

  • At 6:36 p.m., 300 blk 8th Street, Hart, possible stolen property;
  • At 9:00 p.m., CR 510 & CR 610, suspicious vehicle reported;
  • At 10:29 p.m., 700 blk W. Dulin, Dimmitt, warrant service-arrest made.

 

09/18

  • At 12:25 a.m., 200 blk U.S. 385, motorist assistance requested;
  • At 10:56 a.m., 1900 blk Texas 86, possible intoxicated driver reported;
  • At 9:20 a.m., 100 E. Bedford-Courthouse, Dimmitt, warrant service-arrest made;
  • At 4:01 p.m., 1900 blk Texas 86, debris reported on roadway;
  • At 7:45 p.m., U.S. 385 north of Dimmitt, reported reckless driver.

 

09/19

  • At 11:38 a.m., 2300 blk Texas 86, pedestrian needing assistance;
  • At 5:31 p.m., 200 blk U.S. 385, vehicle partially blocking roadway;
  • At 7:10 p.m., 3000 blk Texas 86, possible intoxicated driver reported;
  • At 9:41 p.m., Ave B & Broadway, Hart, persons in vehicle causing disturbance.

 

09/20

  • At 10:38 p.m., 2500 blk CR 603, assist Castro County EMS with medical call.

 

09/21

  • At 3:04 p.m., 400 blk W. Jones, Dimmitt, warrant service-arrest made;
  • At 3:44 p.m., U.S. 385 & CR 610, debris reported on roadway.

Judgments for September 16, 2015:

 

Mark Anthony Carrasco, 18, of Hart pled guilty to the original charge of Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail probated for one (1) year, $500 fine, $435.10 court costs, $50 Crime Line Fee, $100 Food Donation for the County Jail and was ordered by the court to take an Alcohol Awareness Class at his own expense.

 

Raymond Ramos, 35, of Plainview pled guilty to the original charge of Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail probated for one (1) year, $500 fine, $317 court costs, $50 Crime Line Fee and $100 Food Donation to the County Jail.

 

Yesenia Jessica Zamora, 36, of Dimmitt pled guilty to the original charge of Driving While Intoxicated with B.A.C. over 0.15. She was sentenced to 90 days in jail probated for one (1) year, $750 fine, $435.10 court costs, $50 Crime Line, $100 Food Donation to the County Jail and was ordered by the court to take an Alcohol Awareness Class at her own expense.

 

Leon Jose Rodriguez, 41, of Dimmitt pled guilty to two (2) charges of Theft over $50-under $500. He was sentenced on both cases to 90 days in jail, $500 fine and $267 court costs. Both sentences will run concurrent. He was also ordered to pay $147 court costs to the victim of the crime. On the first case the property was recovered.

 

Judgments for September 21, 2015:

 

Aaron Chavez, 26, of Muleshoe pled guilty to the charge of Theft over $500-under $1,500. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail probated for one (1) year, $500 fine, $237 court costs, $50 Crime Line Fee, $100 Food Donation to the County Jail and was ordered to pay $1,541 in restitution to the victim of the crime.
