Hart City Council Meets July 10

The Hart City Council met on July 10 in regular session, with two members absent, Mayor Eliazar Castillo and alderman Johnny Carrasco. Mayor Pro-tem Vickie Etheridge presided. Others present were Ezekiel Barron, Mary Reyna and George Chapa, Jr.

A routine meeting was held, with approval of minutes, and approval of financials and bills to be paid. There was a brief discussion on the pay-off amount on the City’s trash truck, which is financed by Centennial Bank. A discrepancy in documents made  the amount unclear. City Secretary Monica Guzman said that she called the Bank and found that the pay-off amount was $28,107.77, which has been made. She said that with this payment, the City has no outstanding loans.
