All persons arrested have been formally charged by warrant or have been formally arraigned by a Magistrate:

03/05- Michel Chairez, 18, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Assault causes Bodily Injury.

03/07- Alicia Dominguez Rivera, 52, of Hereford was transported back from Deaf Smith County by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Theft by Check over $20-under $500.

03/10- Victor Antonio Gutierrez, 55, of Farwell was arrested by the Texas Highway Patrol for Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces.

03/12- Benjamin Dee Gilchrest, 30, of Lubbock was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Possession of Marijuana over 4 ounces-under 5 pounds-Order to Remand to Community Restitution Treatment Center.

03/13- Michael Hinojosa Jr., 18, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on a Castro County warrant for Sexual Assault of a Child.

03/15- Ramon Aguero Jr., 29, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on a Castro County warrant for Criminal Mischief and a Potter County warrant for Theft by Check.

03/16- Jose Rosario Martinez, 49, of Dimmitt was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Theft of Property over $50-under $500.

• At 4:53 p.m., 2200 blk FM 145, traffic stop-investigation arrest made for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Judgments for March 12, 2014:

Lenard Wayne Culver, 58, of Olton pled guilty to the original offense of Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail probated for one (1) year, $500 fine, $435.10 court costs, $50 Crime Line Fee, $75 Food Donation to the Jail, 90 days drivers license suspension and was ordered to take an Alcohol Awareness Class at his own expense.

Rosario Gonzalez Sr., 41, of Hart pled guilty to the offense of Theft of Property over $50-under $500. He was sentenced to 3 days in jail and $212 court cost.
